On December 2nd, 2021, eight talented musicians from Glen Rock, New Jersey returned to their high school to perform a reunion concert that was 50 years in the making. Happening ’21: The Glen Rock Reunion Concert captures the entire sold out performance in vivid detail, making it a must-see for fans of the Banded Together documentary.

From Uncle Floyd’s hilarious vaudeville piano and comedy routine, to John Feeney and his wife Krista’s powerful, virtuoso rendition of Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusic, to classic jazz, to Laura Nyro’s “And When I Die,” to a grammy nominated gospel tune, to a Broadway stunner from “Les Mis,” the level of musicianship, originality, diversity, mastery, and showmanship on display is off the charts.

The film shows the musicians recounting the way their days at Glen Rock High School helped mold them all into successful musicians with prolific careers.
